Bleeker patent Leather tote - logo

Hi,

I have just purchase a plum bleeker patent leather tote from the Outlet via a friend. When I received it, I was extremely disappointed. The small Coach logo was so faintly imprinted on the crinkle leather that people on the street may think I am carrying a faint because half of the logo is quite invisble if view from far. There is no way i can return the bag as I am not located in US.

Is this normal?

Will try to take some pic tml as I dun have a camera with me. Sigh... And I does love the bag a lot, if not for the fainted logo

I've seen several patent bags with the faint stamp. That's another reason why I stick with natural leather bags. It's normal that the Bleecker stamp is less distinct than regular leather.

I had some of the patent accesories from this line, and the wristlet had a faint logo.... must just be the leather

Mine is somewhat faint. It never bothered me and I carried my Bleeker tote for 3 months straight!

Here are the pics. See the logo is really very faint. I am sooooo upset... I really love the bleeker and the colour but with such faint logo, I am really worry that pple out on the street may think that mine is a fake. Sob sob sob... My heart is really hurting... I cannot even see the "EST 1941" and half of the "coach carriage" is gone

I wonder why the inconsistency with imprinting? The bags I saw at the outlet when I got mine were imprinted the same. Maybe they were manufactured at the same time.

ihandbags, your bleeker looks so totally crinkle. Mine is like some part crinkle, while some part is smooth. I dun want to suspect my friend but I can't help wondering if she got a replica for me. I paid 50% of the full retail price for it and it is consider a lot of dough.

Well, you could always post pictures in the authenticate thread. My bag is a shoulder flap, and not a tote(though it is still Bleecker). And some here have said their imprinting is kind of faint. Your pictures above are a bit too blurry for me to make out.

It may be the nature of patent leather that it doesn't imprint as deeply as in other types of leather.
