I love the way the brandy wears over time! But I do love a good black bag also. I would say go with brandy depending on how many other black bags you have?

If you don't mind me asking, where did you find a mini black/red for pre-order?

I have both and prefer the brandy or cammello tones (if I were just going to get one). They both develop a beautiful patina over time that just goes with the bag. The black gets scratched and more worn looking - it just doesn't look as good very broken in. That said I love my black MG bags, just love my tan ones more. JMO

I have a brandy (raw) regular bucket and a black/black mini bucket. Both have had well over a year of regular use. The brandy shows watermarks/ scratches much more than the black does and I treat it with leather cream occasionally to minimise them. I think the brandy is fantastic and so beautiful but more casual than the black. The black looks more pristine than the brandy and I find it more dressy . It totally depends what look your going for but you can't go wrong with either
