So the black Santos De Cartier is marketed as a men’s watch, but would it look too masculine on a woman?
I personally love it and I don’t care that it’s supposed to be a men’s watch, but also wondering what everyone thinks!

So the black Santos De Cartier is marketed as a men’s watch, but would it look too masculine on a woman?
I personally love it and I don’t care that it’s supposed to be a men’s watch, but also wondering what everyone thinks!
I like big watches these days (no need to squint to see time lol). I like Santos. Mine is a small one but I have mine for ages. I wouldn’t mind this one. I’m currently wearing a mens Rolex 41mm and I’m only 5’ 1”. My DH said I rock it. Try it on and see how you like it.
It’s spectacular! I would definitely wear it. I actually think it’s perfect for a woman
It's very 'masculine' but there are many women whose style(s) this would suit.
I have yet to try on the black one but I’ve tried on the stainless steel version same size and it looked great on me. The black alligator strap is stunning!

The black Santos could be overwhelming. Have you tried it? The only analog that comes to mind is the black Apple Watch. It appears similar in size and boldness--with the Cartier obviously being more the refined.
I loved the Apple Black, but unfortunately couldn't wear it. I have light skin and tiny wrists--it looked clumsy and awful, whereas the same size in the aluminum didn't appear as overwhelming.
The point is, you have to try this and see what suits you and your frame best.
Further, I've always found it helpful to take a photo of a piece of clothing or jewelry on my wrist and look at it later to get a better idea of how it looks. The only exception is watches. What appears--to my eye--to be stunning and correctly proportioned invariably looks gargantuan in a photo. So I would suggest, yes, take some photos, but go with what you love. You're going to be wearing it and looking at it on your wrist every day, so buy what pleases you.
