Black RH City or Velo???

Hello girls!

I am thinking of getting a Black Bal bag and don't know which I should get. I really like the Velo style. Will Velo stay around for awhile??

Not sure if velvo will stay, but it seems like this style is getting more popular. However, I don't think a broken in velvo will look nice compare to the city though...since the velvo is too square.

For 1st BBag, I prefer City rather than Velo.
I love the size & shape of City.

How tall are you? I was coveting the Velo but when I told an SA I was only 5'4", she said it would be way too low on me.

Black city - it's a classic, you can't go wrong with it! It was my first Bbag and I love it to bits, I think it is one of my best buys ever.

City. I was having the exact same dilemma between these two styles in Canard, and in the end went with the City because it seems more classic. Plus I am too short (5'2") for the Velo strap.

I got a velo as my first bbag because I'm into cross body bags, I'm 5'3 and it does ride a little bit low... (I'd say right below the hip bone). But it doesn't bother me as much, plus I love the extra height (it has a squarish shape while the city has a more rectangular shape).

But if you're not comfortable wearing your bag real low and don't need the extra height. Then I'd say go for the city. So it really depends on your taste and criteria.

City!

I am seemingly tall (5'7/8) and it bothers me when messenger bags lay on my thighs/butt. Even small bags. The City isn't comfy to wear cross-body (though possible), but I think it is the perfect length. It lays comfortable of the midsection.

I would suggest the City as well. It's such a classic shape. I really want a velo as well, but plan to get that down the road (maybe in Anthra).

How does your current collection look? If you already have Cities, I'd go for the Velo!
