Black on Black Swagger vs. Chalk

So I broke down and exchanged my Periwinkle full size Swagger for the black on black because it's more versatile and just gorgeous. But I'm wondering now if I should exchange her for the Chalk/Black with gold hardware. It's a little bit smaller. The black on black just seems so big on me. I'm 5'3" and very petite. It's so gorgeous, timeless, and classy! I'm just loving the looks of the multi color one. Also, I think I would like the size better. And it would look so cute for Spring! Thoughts???

Hi! I am about your height and petite too--that's why I like the 27 size the best. I agree that the black on black is just gorgeous but it is too big for me. If you really like the look of the chalk colorblock, then you should go for it. I think it is pretty but might get dirty more easily than the black one. I don't know if you saw my post last month about a limited supply of the swagger 27 in nude colorblock and black with gold available from JAX directly (nude is 34417P and black is 34816P). Good luck deciding and let us know your decision.

But I think it really is the perfect size and it really is great for any season, where the black on black I think is definitely more fall/winter. If only I could have both!!!!! Did you end up getting the 27? Coach's return policy is like 60 days now, so I have less time to decide!

My vote is for the black Swagger, just a gorgeous bag that will never go out of style. IMO

I got the nude one during PCE and I love it. I originally wanted the black 27 when I saw it at Macy's (they only had one there). when I finally decided to buy it, they had just sold it. at that time, I didn't realize JAX had them. So I ended up buying the small black borough from Macy's instead. So being that I already bought a small black satchel with gold hardware, I opted to buy the nude swagger. I don't think you can go wrong with either color but black may be more worry free for you.

Oh, one more thing. When I ordered my nude 27 a couple of weeks ago from JAX, they supposedly had about 6 left. So the black 27 may be low in supply too.

I think black would be best but I also agree that the smaller one would get more use, if it holds enough for you. Chalk will get dirty. I would go for a black in the size 27 if you can get it. I think they also have apricot in that size.

I would find out all the colors they have in the 27 (including pilot bags) and get the darkest one you like. Black will always be easiest to keep clean, then gray and browns. Nude and apricot are lighter - I would be careful with those.

The smaller one is less heavy, too.

Thanks for all the input! I didn't realize the 27 came in other colors. I'm going to call Jax to find out what's available!
