That's the problem with all dark colored polishes. I use coat of Out The Door and that seems t prevent some of the chipping. I could't find the Chanel so I'm wearing Revlon's Vamp...it has way more red in it but I like it.

i am wearing Chanel black satin on my toes and love it. get great compliments especially when i wear open toes black sandals.

I love Revlon's Vixen. It was a rec in Instyle as a cheap version of the popular Chanel Vamp. It's a deep burgundy that looks almost black but isn't as goth as pure black.

I love Chanel's Vamp...have it on right now. For OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark is very similar but minus the $18 price tag of the Chanel polish.

Opi makes a really nice color one...which I am wearing at the moment...its a dark dark dark marooon purple but after a double layer of nail polish......it looks like a soft black....the color is called "Lincoln park after dark"

I usually just wear dark colors on my toes...........plus my fingernails are too long to be dark......it'll look too vampy/fake......so I just keep them with french tips........plus I'm too lazy to keep switching colors

but yeah I'm actually tempted to cut my nails so that I can wear darker colors

lol, my toes are revlon's vixen and my nails are opi's lincoln park after dark. i do my toes my self and have my nails done. my bottle of vixen is almost gone and i am having trouble finding it in stores.
