I love Chanel and yesterday my husband helped me buy my 2nd Chanel bag at the Chanel store while he was on a business trip to HK. Its a black medallion tote in calfskin and instead of the gold or silver hardware, it is in leather. Its matte and the leather looks distressed and even the black is off black rather than jet black like the caviar. (hope i make sense!) I love the bag and i think i don't look quite as old if i carry this instead of the caviar leather. Has anyone ever seen this? Also, what are the care instructions for the bag? Is calfskin tougher than lambskin?
Also, why does lauren conrad's medallion tote not look as shiny as the other caviar totes when it is photographed?
