Black mark on a new bag?

Hi everyone, I'm new to this and wasn't sure where to post but I received a new bag from Macy's online yesterday, the Poppy Perri Hippie in Red and I really love it BUT...it has a black mark (like a line a pen would make) on the top by the zipper. It almost looks like a black marker but then I thought maybe it was the edge paint that rubbed off on the bag. It looks like that is more the case. Its a small mark but its bugging me. Is this common on Coach bags?

I dont think black marks are common on Coach bags.

If it is the edge paint (coating) you might be able to roll it off with your fingers - if not, I'd order another one. Regardless of what it is - I'd exchange it!

I got a wallet in the mail from macys and there was a pen mark on it, I'd do an exchange if it is bothering you, you bought it new so that's how it should look
