Hi all!
Does anyone else have this problem??? I love black bags but I constantly feel like I have to own bags in other colours e.g. white, tan/brown, and beiges. My wardrobe is mostly dark colours and I do worry about colour transfer on lighter bags. I want a diverse collection but the colour black for my bags really draws me in, as I know I will get the most wear from them. Does anyone else have this same issue? If they worked past it and now have a completely black bag collection?

I feel like I ghost wrote your post jessgirilbby. I used to have nearly all black bags, and then made a concerted effort to branch out. My most used bags, other than black, are silver and gray. My pop of color bags (Chartreuse, Rouge Grenat and Anemone) see the light of day about 1/4 of the time, except for spring and summer when they rule!

those kitties in your avatar are adorable
whenever I get a bright colored bag - red, fuchsia, etc., I end up not wanting to carry it much....so neutrals - black/grey/beige seem better for me

sdkitty, your little one is darling. Those eyes!

These two are Ragdolls, so much like dogs that many breeders refer to them as "puppycats."
sweet! my two are not cuddly like yours but we accept them as they are....they love being near us and knowing what we're up to but not much on being held, sitting on laps, etc - unless they happen to be in the mood

My problem is opposite. I can’t carry a black bag, despite my wardrobe being mostly dark. Ever since I moved to FL from PA I can’t seem to carry a black bag. I’m trying to get back into black.
I don't know if this will change your feelings at all but Jennifer Aniston (whose style I love) almost always carries black bags, even with summer clothes

Thank you! I’m definitely going to purchase a black bag this year. Right now leaning toward the Maida Hobo.

I think grey would work nicely with my wardrobe too but I find it hard to find the right grey. what have you bought in grey?

I've got a Prada Ardesia (that's the gray color) Tessuto Nylon Bomber Flap PH. It's Prada's riff on Chanel's Classic Flap and works as a shoulder bag and also crossbody. My silver bag is a Chanel Mini Rectangular Ruthenium (that's the silver color) Lambskin SH.

I found a photo of the Prada bag on the internet. I bought mine at half price at the Prada Boutique in my local Saks Fifth Avenue several years ago. It weighs just about nothing, has a zipper to expand it, and is a great spring/summer easy to use bag.
