Both are so beautiful it is hard to choose. I just purchased this bag at Macy's and I chose the silver, I just love it! I don't think you can go wrong either way but my favorite is definitely the silver.

Thats a good question. When I saw the blk/silver at macys it was the same size as the blk/gold. I didnt even look at the price of the blk/slv cause I didnt buy it , but the red, luggage were also 328 just like the black. As a matter of fact, They are all the same size.

I personally think they give you different looks---black with gold is more classic to me and black with silver is a bit exhort to me...I personally love the gold but you cannot go wrong! Let us know what you decide!

You know what I personally had a hard time choosing over more than the color of the hardware, was the leather finishes of these bags. The SA at Macy's brought out at least TEN of the same bag. Some of the leather finishes were flat, some pebbled, some mixed, etc... It varied so much it was really hard to choose!!! Maybe it's just me, but each difference in texture made such a difference in the bag it was hard to choose!

I eventually chose a fairly textured bag with SILVER hardware, and it is so gorgeous!!

Congratulations!
I've noticed the same thing too with the leather. I also prefer the more textured leather, it has just enough softness to it. Some of the smoother leathers seem to be a little too stiff.
Enjoy her, you're gonna love her!
