Hey everyone! I have a question for black empriente owners. I just got my on the go pm. It took three tries to find a “good” one. I’ve had my bag for six weeks and it looks like the black is rubbing off on the strap and some places on the bottom of the bag. It’s not glue. And I am by no means rough on my bags, I baby them. I’ve used this bag for maybe a total of five hours since I’ve gotten it. I’m just Curious if anyone else has had this problem. This is literally the sixth quality issue I’ve had over the last year and I’m really considering moving on form LV, which makes me so sad as I’ve watched quality decline over the fifteen years I’ve been shopping with them. I have a black empriente twinset that’s 11 years old and I’ve used it like crazy and still looks perfect. Ugh. Thanks for any input anyone has!

I have a metis in empriente and haven't had any wear/tear as you've described. Maybe because the on the go is more structured it's wearing quicker? Honestly though, thats too soon IMO. I've had my metis since 2020 and it looks great, it's my most used bag. My other empriente is a speedy 25 & there's no wear/tear but it's only been used a couple of times.

I have a black On the Go PM as well. It’s only about 6 months old, but I use it regularly. It looks “like new”. No wear and tear except maybe light scratches on the hardware from normal use. That sounds so frustrating - hope that the store or Client Services will help you.

Thank you so much for replying. I just wanted to see if anyone was having the same problem before I reach out to my CA. She’s been so wonderful through all of this. I really hate seeming like that annoying client who’s complaining but I feel like the quality should be up there for these luxury pieces. I would much prefer to purchase and not have to worry about wear and tear after a few short uses :sad:

I have carry all and neo noe empreinte for almost a year. I use my carry all more often than my neo noe, so far looking good. It became softer, but I think it’s normal wear and tear for leather bag.

Maybe I received like a bad batch? I don’t know what’s going on, it’s really upsetting. I’m so Happy your bag is holding up though! Thank you for responding
