While we're on the topic of size, would the Birkin 30cm, HAC 28cm, and Bolide 31cm work for such occasions in regular leather? If not, would they work if it's in exotic leather but the same size?

How about a black box 32cm retourne GHW Kelly?

Good question, Kou! I was considering the 30cm croc birkin with g/h for evening, but I don't think it would work. Kelly can go from day to evening, but with two handles - it's a true tote.

Even in the most exotic leather, I think Birkin is our fabulous day bag. Thank God for kelly! I do like that teeny tiny little itsy bitsy one.

Yes it would be a bit big for dressier occasions...your Chanel would be perfect, or how about a Kelly?
