Okay, I have become obsessed with the Celine Bittersweet. I don't know if I can make myself pay that much for a handbag, but I'm working on it. ;)

But help me understand the difference in these bags on the eluxury site.

What is the difference in the two white bags pictured? One is described as a "Bittersweet Grained Hobo" and is $1200. The other is described as a "Bittersweet East/West Hobo", retails for $1050 and shows measurements 0.5" longer along one dimension. But it looks the same as the $1200 white bag. The descriptions are the same other than the small measurement difference.

So what is the difference?

Also, the strap drop is listed at 6.5 inches. Does the medium hobo fit over the shoulder? I thought I saw a pic of someone that had one and it looked fine over her shoulder, but I can't remember where I saw it.

Thanks in advance for enabling me.

one is pebbled leather (less expensive) made from cowhide, more expensive version (smooth looking leather) is made from calfskin. i asked the same questions to the Celine store SA when i visited their store today.

REALLY loved the medium calfskin one in pearl, but luxury brands really MARK UP on their prices here in asia...the medium one is selling for about USD$1600 here...i didn't even bother asking about the larger version, haha!
