It's my 28th birthday tomorrow and I need present help! My boyfriend is pretty clueless when it comes to jewelry, so he's leaving it up to me to decide what he'll be gifting me. Although he did say he wants final approval before I make a purchase because he wants to like it too. I'm glad he feels that way...that's some effort, right? 
We were talking this morning and I asked about budget. His response was basically "I have no idea. $700?". BF then asked if I had something in mind, so I showed him the Cartier thin trinity. He read the little tidbit on the site about how the three gold colors stand for friendship, love and fidelity and he really liked the ring itself. When he asked about the price I just said "too expensive". Then he proceeded to fall back to sleep, which is what I should be doing right now since we got to bed crazy late last night. He kept saying "Really? We need to talk about this when I'm half sleeping?". Oops.
I'll see what I can do about getting the budget pushed up a bit in order to get the trinity, but if not, any ideas for a gold ring in that price range? My only other everyday ring is the YG Love which I wear on my left middle finger. I'd want the new ring for my right ring finger.
Due to the Jewish holiday I'll be fasting tonight and tomorrow, so we were planning on celebrating my bday on Sunday anyways. I don't mind if my present is a little late, but I also don't want it showing up in a month.
Any ideas would be a big help!
