  1. I just wanted to know if anyone else has this problem and what they are doing about it.....

I'm 23 and active (you know what I mean), I used to take ortho-tri-cyclen and than I took ortho-tri-cyclen low, because apprently my blood pressure is affected my estrogen, it makes my blood pressure dangerously high, almost deadly and I was actually hospitalized for it. So, I had to stop take any pill that had estrogen. My Obgyn put me on a POP which stands for Progestorin only pill, (hope thats how you spell it) but now I'm starting to get very painful cysts. I've been a realtionship for almost 3 years and there is no way we can go back to condoms. And I'm way too young for kids....

    Anyone else have this problem?

What are you using as a form of protection against pregnancy?

  2. Yaz is the only pill I have ever taken that did not raise my blood pressure.

  3. Wow sorry to hear about that. Did you talk to your doctor about your concerns? There are other options like IUD, diaphragm, the Implant- I don't know much about them but I'm sure your doctor could give you advice.
