Birkin Toile 30

Hi, Has anyone been offered a Toile Birkin 30 recently or is it no longer in production? I don't see this being posted often so I'm not sure how realistic it is to put this on my wishlist this year. Thanks!

It is still in production as I have seen a few at the store 'display only'. They usually don't show items they stopped making.

love toile got a kelly from the shop in cannes last year and a birkin in japan/resale because at least my store manager said it was no longer available

I have seen them in store display only (as late as last year perhaps), and I believe the Paris thread had some offers

In my experience, toile is quite robust (Although watch out for denim transfer which is of course an issue with your jeans and not the bag)

I would not spray anything on it. I have toile bags and they look great after years. I would spot clean with something like Nylac, which is harmless to the fabric, but I have never needed to. Toile is very classic Hermes.

I have seen toile Kelly’s on display at stores across Europe and was recently offered a HAC 40 in the same space as the pic, this was about 2 months ago.

can Hermes SPA clean or replace the toile part if got dirty?
Or can the 4 leather corners be repaired, since they are only small pieces unlike the regular whole piece leather birkins?

my friends who've had toile birkins swear by Mr Clean Magic Eraser in cleaning the toile part. they've had chocolate ice cream drippings and wine stains removed just by using the magic eraser

I have used Mr Clean Magic Eraser on toile to great effect (I think someone on this subforum recommended it a long time ago). But, experiences vary greatly, and I believe others have had issues, so I recommend first testing on the bottom or some hidden place (or a less expensive bag like a toile GP or evelyn) first. I no longer spa my own bags and prefer to send to H spa or @docride. I have a K quadrille and I think the older toile was more sturdy. I don’t think I would use it today bc apparently it may remove a layer of the surface.

aw bummer on the last part, and thanks for the heads up on the eraser .
I was actually considering the new 2023 toile b25 but hesitated as not sure if they are hard to take care of. I thought somehow I had read other people say for the older toile b/k the H spa can replace the whole toile, but now that the new toile b25 has a leather layer (heard the old toile does not) I doubt that would work
Maybe i should just get a vintage instead
