It reminds me of a cross between the Hermes white bus and the Hermes atlas bags. I think the bag is a bit plain so it could work well for work. If you want a less recognizable Hermes bag, I’ve seen both of the bags mentioned above on the resale market for not a lot of money (at least not a lot for H).

Thanks for your reply. I love the whitebus, but it's best for files. The Margeaux 17 is the size and width of a 40 birkin, but it's softer and easy to stuff with shoes, water bottle, scarf, and lunch in addition to papers and a laptop.

I think if it fits what you need and you like the style, you should go for it!!! I like the shape and the softness of the leather - looks buttery :) Good luck with whatever you decide.
