Hello, I have not been able to find a thread of this type.

I currently own a B25 in the gold colour with phw and am looking for a Kelly 28, also phw. I really like how the palladium sometimes pops in contrast to the bag colouršŸ¤. The Kelly should also be a neutral colour. I was thinking gold, but I don't know if two bags of the same colour will make me happy. Greys are also out, as is black (I have a black B30). I would also look at the resale market, do any of you know of other nice neutrals that are more dark so the phw pops? Or are you happy to have two bags in the same colour? I tend to buy the same bag in different colours anyway (annoying) but this time even like this? So difficult! I really need your help😢

I personally wouldn’t although I too have lots of same color bags mainly black. I have a Black B25 (from a reseller) and a Gold B25 as well as a Black Evelyn 29 and a Gold Picotin. Yes, I got the non-quotas first, but always now choose the B25 equivalent color when I want to wear an H bag locally. When waiting for my first offer Gold B25, I specifically had on my wishlist no Black whether Kelly or Birkin unless it was a mini Kelly. I would like a Craie or Sesame or Parchment as neutrals for my next bag ideally a K25 or a true or grassy green or a sky/baby blue or light pink.

I have a few in the same colour in B and K (and Trim), actually even in the same leather (Fauve Barenia), in part even with same hardware. Very happy with it, as different shapes of bags have different vibes and purpose in my opinion and the colour fits seamlessly into my wardrobe. I do not own very many bags either, so I use them all quite frequently.

If you love the colour, go for it, at least this is my opinion, if it serves the purpose of the bag that you have in mind (e.g. I would not use my K32 FB as a fancy dinner bag but did not buy it for this purpose. I actually use a black one for this, as it feels more elegant to me. ).

I have different types of bags in the same color. If you find you love the color and need different styles for different types of occasions, I would definitely go for the same color as you will use them. I love classic colors but a handbag (kelly), a casual bag (evelyne, picotin etc) and a tote (birkin, GP, double sens etc) serve different purposes for me. I would get lots of use out of multiple bags in colours like black, gold or craie. I would not wear a birkin 35 out to dinner but I might wear an Kelly 28 or an MK. Similarly I wouldn’t wear a birkin to a kids birthday party or the playground but I’d wear a more casual non qb bag.

Gold goes with everything. Other nice neutrals are a true navy like bleu nuit or bleu indigo and depending on the batch, some people like etoupe. There are also some nice darker non neutrals that can act as a neutral depending on your wardrobe like rouge sellier, rouge H and vert cypress.

Many of us have multiple bags in a color...enough to fill this very long thread :flowers:

Personally I have B35, B30, Garden Party, K28 sellier, and mini K in Noir PHW as well as K28 retournƩ in Noir GHW, and Fauve Barenia in B35, HAC32, and K25 along with I think six Gold bags :shrugs:

If I find a color that works I have no issue at all repeating it. HOWEVER, HermĆØs makes so many interesting neutrals that it's certainly possible to find a different color, for example you may wish to look in this thread:

Excellent points here- I also have several black Kelly’s (don’t ask) I bought them years ago.
Nowadays I would not buy similar colours, simply because the cost is just too high to buy multiples serving the same purpose. For example I have k25 in gold and rejected B25 in gold. Too similar! Though I have Kelly 28 sellier and retournĆ© both in black with gold bijouterie - to me they look completely different, :lol:so it’s defying the eye of the beholder.

Etoupe with PHW is a beautiful combo and very neutral.

I have a B25 sellier and a B30 swift, both gold, phw, and I find them very different. I actually have several bags in gold, etoupe, gray, blue, and blue gray lol.

But, oddly, I find that my 28K box retourne and B30 barenia, both brushed phw, too similar….

It’s a personal choice :)

I think neutrals like noir/gold are perfectly okay to own in K and B and in different sizes and styles. I feel neutrals will always be perfect day or night. I won't do "pop" colors in multiple styles but whatever you prefer :)

@Egalegaler I have a gold B30 GHW and I would grab a Kelly 28 or a Constance in gold with PHW in a second!

Hmmm let's seeeee....
I have craie in B25 RGHW and K28 PBHW (although that one is bicolor but the front in craie). Plus a CC mini in Ivory. Yikes.
Noir in 2 sizes of B... B25 RGHW and B30 GHW.
I also have 4 pink shades w/ different hardwares in B, K & C.... Plus 2 pink CC CFs. Yikes.
omg I never reaalllly thought about this and I'm kinda stunned at being such a color repeater.

OWell. If a color works for you and your wardrobe, I say go nuts!
