Hi everyone,
I came across 2 reseller for b30 gold ghw in Epsom and togo.
Which one should I invest in?
I m planning to keep the bag for another 20 yrs

I read some post regarding how Epsom leather aged ( the bag will likely will sink in the middle )..

And some suggested togo leather will aged better ..

I wonder bag spa can restore which leather type birkin better ?

Thanks

Togo over epsom anyday.
Not a fan of the recent togo bags though (starting Q stamp) as they feel thinner than the older togos..
G stamp togo.. If its in good condition.. I'll go for it in a heartbeat!

^Agree w/ KeeKee about P stamp or older Togo. However I do have one P stamp togo that is really thin as well.

Each leather has different characteristics. I'd suggest you read up a bit more. Epsom is pressed leather, more sturdy, will hold its shape better, lighter weight, scratches can't really be buffed out, may sink but not much if stored properly (all bags should be stored stuffed and lied down on its bag). Togo is grain leather, will slouch over time (not as fast as clemence), has light veins (some may have no veins), looks more like leather-leather, can be spa'd better than epsom. I like them both for different reasons. Both leather can last a very long time with proper care and storage.

Personally, I will go with togo. I am not a big fan of epsom. My togo from 2009 still looks new (even more so after its recent visit to H spa). I don't baby my bag. My togo B occasionally sits on the floor (gasp!!), been dropped on a pavement, been shoved under DD stoller, and been placed under airplane seat without covering a couple of times.
