So I come home from work this arvo and hubby rings me from work. A while ago we saw these bezels in the window in a jewellery store in town.
Sparkly, bigger sizes then Tiffany's and well worth the money.

Today he saw one of them still there plus a new one ($700). I hope he is hinting at something for my upcoming bday in april!

He asked how my saving up for a dbty is coming along (very slow of course)...

If you really like it , you can buy it. For all the goods I like, I never buy it at once, I always go to see it several days later, if it is still there and I still like it, I will buy it without any hesitation.

Honestly, I don't think I'm responsible enough for a nice diamond necklace anyway lol First of all, I NEVER take my favorite pieces of jewelry off and if I do, it's only for a few hours while I'm at work (food service) or school (nursing asst. program). I don't think you're supposed to leave a DBTY on 24/7 and I don't even have a proper jewelry box! I just have a mirror plate I throw everything in and my son plays in it lol

Plus, honestly, I just really can't afford a Tiffany DBTY right now. One day :D

Oh no, how old is your son? Mine is five, thank goodness he not into touching it. He knows its expensive! I used to always leave jewellery around the house but I try not too these days.

He's four and he knows better but he's so drawn to jewelry he can't help it, just like mommy! lol I just bought him a $10 angry bird necklace. I'm giving to him in the morning so we'll see how he likes it :p

Glad mine isn't the only one! He's definitely all boy but he just wants to do what mommy does. My aunt has heaps of costume jewelry that she keeps around at her house for him to play with. Keeps him entertained for quite a while!!

And I never tell my son when I got a new Pandora bead. He always spots them right away. He spots anything new I wear and then tells everyone! It's embarrassing. My friends/family always make me feel bad when I buy jewelry/purses/clothes basically anything for myself.

Being a mommy is very hard work and why would your friends/family make you feel bad for taking care of yourself?

moms deserve to feel good about themselves and treat yourself once in a while too!

that's not very nice of vannarene's family to make her feel guilty about treating herself..... take their comments with a grian of salt and defend yourself! you deserve to care about yourself just as much as you do about your BF and son. :smile1:
