This gotta be a joke.

So I went to this website to purchase a pair of pearl earrings. I dont live in the US, so it's impossible to exchange with all the cross border shopping. Today, I asked a question if I can see a non stock photo and this is what I got.

This is the rudest, unbelievable 'customer service' I've ever dealt with in my entire life. I want to bring up the issue with American pearl website itself but afraid the same Charlie weirdo would reply, or they just dont care.
Anyways just thought I'd share.

I don't know anything about this compagny or their costumer service but most webshops outsource everything. The webshop most of the time has nothing to do with where the actual stock is, where the parcels are packed. Most of the time both have nothing to do with the costumer service, because that is outsourced too.

Although I can imagine that the cs employee has no way of taking photo's or even post them for you to see, I can also imagine that they can't disclose that kind of information to you. Do you have an email adress you can use? If you are making an complaint about this chat, maybe they are closer to actual stock and can get you a better picture.

I'm sorry to read that you were treated like this, that shouldn't have happened. I do hope that my info gave you a better understanding of how webshops work.

Thanks! I did get an apology from a customer service so I think we are all good. I wasn't particularly upset that they didnt sent me a photo of the product at all, if its company policy, so be it, I am quite understanding.
I'm more upset about the attitude about the chat assistant who doesnt seem like he(she) likes their job
 
i’ve never heard of this company but i am gonna take a guess that whoever you were speaking to is not a fluent english speaker and sometimes people with a limited vocabulary come off as curt or rude when they don’t mean to be.... the joys of language barrier

The attitude was horrible. I totally agree on that. Sometimes it's not even the message itself, but how it was brought.
