i want to know about your best Gucci vintage finds (pictures too), where you bought/found it and how much you paid! Also what condition was it in, did you get it as a “fixer upper”?

I was looking for a specific Bamboo Top Handle from the 60's, I do not have any upscale consignment stores in my area, so I took to the internet. and found not one, but 3 beautiful bamboo top handled beauties. I'll post pics soon. but I found them on ebay and etsy. can't remember exactly how much I paid as it was quite a while ago, but they were relatively cheap, DEFINITELY under $500 each, I think they were all around $200 each, as a matter of fact I'm certain they were which is exactly why I purchased all three. and they are all in excellent condition, not just for the age, but overall excellent. THAT Gucci quality is EXACTLY why I'm such a brand loyalist. as long as you do not abuse your bag, it'll stand the test of time.
Vintage Gucci is all the rage now. I saw a YouTuber (Mel Soldera) score a vintage Gucci bucket bag for $ 103 on eBay!

I don’t personally have any YET. Which is why I created the thread. I want to see what others have. Because I have no idea what some things are called. Like I remember seeing a few pictures on Instagram of vintage Gucci bags I want. But the only thing that was wtitten is “vintage Gucci should bag.” Ughh when the holidays are over I 100% plan on buying a few pieces. I like to have a mix of modern and vintage and it’s more diverse. That my idea of “branching out” since I don’t like colourful pieces.Vintage Gucci is all the rage now. Oh, I agree about the bag names. I like vintage Gucci bucket bags, but there are so many versions of it! I never know how to find the ones that I like.
I used to be very into vintage, then I sort of steered away from it, but now my lust for it is coming back. And Gucci looks like the perfect investment, with its signature pattern.

I do have one in mind that I want, I saw it on Instagram a WHILE ago but at the time I want into vintage, and just thought it was a new bag. I saw it on some YouTuber recently but she just said “my vintage Gucci bag” so I have no idea what it’s called. I’ll need to search through her videos and post it on here in hopes someone knows what it’s called!Oh, I agree about the bag names. I’ve seen a few of these on Ebay. And just a lot with that style handle! Very pretty! But I once got a tote with that style handle and it was so painful to carry around. It dig into my arm!
