For my wedding I'd like to try false lashes. I've never tried them before and I've seen a few videos and programs on how to do it.

Q: Are they disposable? so it's a one use thing then you throw it out?

Are there different types, and if so what's the best easiest type to attempt.

Looking for something reasonably priced and easy to apply that looks beautiful.
We have sephora, sally and other beauty supply + drug stores here in Canada so you can try to recommend something and I'll look for it.

Thanks!!

They are disposable but you can also re-wear them. (Just rip the glue off of the used false lashes) ...all depends on how careful you are.

Quo from Shopper's Drug Mart are $7.50.... MAC and Make-Up Forever lashes are about $20..... a box of 10 pairs (made in China or Vietnam) is $15-$20 at Pacific Mall.

They come in different styles with some being more dramatic and others more natural. I'm sure you'll find a style that you like and will suit your occasion. You won't regret it!

I prefer the Ardell LashGrip Eyelash Adhesive glue ($5) over the transparent realllllly sticky ones. Some are too strong and harsh for the eyelid. Anyway good luck and they will look beautiful! It'll make your eyes pop and accentuate your eye makeup ;)

Thanks for that YT video declaredbeauty, VERY helpful. She has pretty eyes. I cannot wait until Saturday night to try this since I am going to a bachelorette party and have been told I am the unofficial MUA.

for beginners I would go for ardell or red cherry lashes. My favorite all purpose lashes are smokey layers from Shu Uemura.

I also use my tweezers to apply my lashes to get them as close to my lashline as possible. If you don't want a full on look or have small eyes (like me) you can always cut 1/4 off from the outer corner of the lashes and use them to cover only 3/4 of your lash line for a slightly subtler look.

I use falsies regularly & depending on the brand, I'm able to wear each pair atleast 2 times before I toss them. Try shopping around, just because lashes cost more, doesn't mean their the best quality :) Ardells are good.
