Which leather has the best quality? Diamante or Guccisima? Which of them will hold best over time? I have a brown Diamante leather belt that looks quite worn after only a year..
It seems that it's thicker leather on the bags than the belts, cause the belts gets worn more quickly.

Guccissima and Diamond-print leather are made of numbers of leathers and thicknesses for different products even within their own print-range so it doesn't make then easy to compare unless you're talking about specific product for product. Even the colours of dye can affect the feel and properties of the leather. Most of the brown Guccissima leather I've seen (apart from the Web bag) and Chalk G-leather looks and feels fantastic and seems to wear very well (my experience is with wallets and change purses) the D-leather as used on Brights looks like it would be great at keeping clean and not scuffing and scratching easily, but like Hermes' Epsom might succumb to irreversible corner rub although I don't have any longterm experience of D-leather to compare.

I have notice the small leather goods in brown Guccissima is lighter brown than the bags. I wonder why.. The bags is almost coffe brown. Very dark. I think I prefer the brown color on the Diamante leather bags better than the Guccissima.

My Dad had a guccisima wallet that went through the washing machine and although it was slightly warped, 95% of the leather looked undamaged. I was amazed!

Both are fabulous. I recently purchased the small bucket bag in navy Diamante, loved it so much that I bought the red one too. I have 2 of the Guccissima leather bags and they are also great and seem to hold up well. The Diamante seems more structured and the Guccissima a softer leather.

Hi, who know how to clean Guccissima? I have Miss Hobo and after few monthes the colour on one side started to look like a stone wash jeans. I have no idea...

Hi Suzy, it's sounds like you need to take it back to Gucci as this doesn't sound normal. The leather is dyed through the entire skin and not able to bleach out, it could also be a mould issue or damp rising to the surface. Whatever, it sounds like immediate work is needed. Don't put it away for now, leave it out and allow it to breath.
