Hi Momo,

I tried asking one of my korean frd about Petit Noble she did some research in korean forum on this clinic. However, there is only one reply saying that this clinic is gd in removing dark circles.. so far no news on eyelid revision about this clinic. As for dream clinic im not too sure about them.

This is my Current update before i head to korea on 11th May and back on 18th May. Im at 4mths ops and i lost my job because of this failure surgery. I used to work in Resort World Casino marketing due to this ugly high eyelid makes me so depress to continue my work there,my job requires alot of PR meeting of client and provide services. This July I'm unfortunate that there is opening for employment in my previous company so I'm keen to go back.

However, I'm still with a little swelling. This recently i work day n night to do research for my revision, i even email Dr Kwon T eumips, Dr Cho Bandoeyes, Apgujeong seoul plastic surgery and Banobagi, Bk Dongyang Dr Kim. They are all famous in korea. However none of them can do revision for me accept Banobagi and Bk Dongyang Dr Kim. Dr Kim review my case in singapore by chance, as my frd is working under him as an consultant.

This is what Dr kim mention: Irene case is not easy. She has a slight Ptosis problem before surgery however it was not so serious for her to do correction on it at the moment. Unfortunately, Problem occurs after she went for this double eyelid surgery. Her previous doctor(Dr Chuang) has over corrected her fold at 10mm height, result in too high eyelid has weaken her levator muscles and thicken her fribous muscle too. This cause her Ptosis problem more serious now. Beside this my Epi was a W-method it's the old technique, this result on my eyes look fierce, too close together. My revision advise from dr kim is 3.5k usd for eyelid lowering and Ptosis correction. After calculated all my cost for travel n revision add up to 5.5k sing dollar!

Different people has different length and heights of their browbone, mine is smaller hence my eye size is smaller. This heavy eyelid decrease the size of my eyes shape,my face and features is small so current eyelid was total wrong on me.

Im having problem of opening my eyes day by day due to the thickness of my eyelid. My research was a tough time for me too, as korea is so big everyone told me to seek for other dr. Ya indeed price is a Matters but if revision fails again that incured more cost hence Revision after Revison result wont be as gd anymore. Although Dr kim is well know for his high skillful but he targets more on non local as that's why his price is too steep. Even though i had manage to find some Gd surgeon but after discuss with my family i decide to go for Dr kim n let go other option. I rather spent all my hard earn money, savings n borrow money here n there to go for revision with dr kim, then travel to korea alone for consultation by other doctors end up no dr want to do for me or end up if complication happens again after i came back singapore i got no one to turn to. I wanted to share with u all this maybe this is your 1st time revision but for me its the 2nd Revision so the more revision the less choice you can go for, like me..u see now my case seems to be no choice...I will definately update my photo after revision come back.

Wish all the all of us Good Luck in Eyelid surgery in korea!!!

Hi everyone, I desperately need recommendations ><;;
I came to Korea in hopes to do double eyelid, Medial and Lateral epicanthoplasty surgery also rhinoplasty but very cautious of the number of places to go. I already went to BK for a consult and everyone treated me very well and most employees can speak english but not sure about the quality of work. For the nose it was around $3,800 and the eyes for only double eyelid and epicanthoplasty was $3,500 so in total $7,300. Price isnt an issue but if Im going to pay that much I want to be sure its right. I also went to a small clinic where a friend recommended me and it is $2,000 for the nose and $1,500 for double eyelid and epicanthoplasty.

If anyone knows where they do a good job in order to get big eyes and a good nose, please let me know, thanks and much appriciated!!!!

Worries, when will you be arriving in Seoul? Sorry this is the first time i've heard of Petit clinic but i also read that aps is pretty good. Have you checked out the after photos some of their patients have posted?? It's worrying that their customer service didnt seem very good over the phone but perhaps it'll be different if you visit them in person??

Another clinic i heard is good is Dream clinic although their work is good I do remember a reviewer said that they're very busy so you may seem rushed.

I hope that you keep us all updated with you surgery and I hope you enjoy the rest before you restart work

Feel free to PM me if you like, i'll be heading to Kr late may

Do not go to Dream clinic for eye revision!! I know someone who did their eye revision and resulted with asymmetry and permanent epi scar. Plus, it's crowded and patients felt very rushed from what i heard directly.

i absolutely love this thread  i would love to find out more too. count me in! i am interested in a rhino.

I am considering a primary rhinoplasty and here are my choices:

Sam Rizk in New York - PROS: more predictable and i feel more confident about the possible results. BEST, most effective ALAR, WIDTH reduction i've seen so far! very consistent results in his patients. CONS: humongous price, uses foreign material to create the bridge of the nose.

VIP, Shimmian in Korea- PROS: natural, rib cartilage for augmenting the bridge. However, the results look bland. The change is so minimal, more like a panacea effect. I understand those of you who like natural outcomes, but i am one that aims for drama-tic result, if i'm to take the great length of flying across the globe on this mission.

What do you all think? Are there other surgeons in Korea that you think i should look into who provides for my criteria? Dr. Rizk's cost doesn't leave me money for work on other areas of my face. That's the sad part!

hmm i had my first nj with vip and my nose is definately a dramatic difference.. used to be very flat wide looking because no bridge at all and now COMPLETE opposite

oh yah if ur going to ask i used rib for bridge and ear for tip.. wanted to cut alars but dr.lee said once its heightened it wont look wide. he was right lol

"dramatic" in a good way? i'm hoping
Interesting that your nose doesn't look wide after the heightened tip. I still believe i have a wider than average nose to start with. In fact, it becomes the problem whenever i laugh, and it spreads out taking an entire expanse making itself the single most dominant feature of my face.

...and they say i'm too serious, oh well

yes dramatic in a good way! haha.. and really? i heard that if the alars do not meet with the inner conner of your eye than the doctor will recommend to cut them.. if yours do not im sure its not as necessary like my case!

and i was quoted the same as everyone.. but can be less depending on the case nd what you actually end up using

Had anyone had double eyelid surgery at Banobagi Clinic before? Can you share ur experience and how much it cost? I'm planning on going to either Oz clinic or Banobagi at the last week of summer but undecided atm.

I heard Bandoeyes was the best for eyelid surgery... and this is what they quoted me:

"The cost is 300 us dollar for double eyelid , Medial Epicanthoplasty 2500 , Canthopexy 2500
ptosis and double eyelid surgery 5500 .
"

GIGANTIC PRICES, ain't them?!!

Ahhhh, why is bando so expensive? It's $5,000 for epicanthoplasty revision. That's insane!!!!! But I feel like they're the only ones skilled enough to do it.

Are you doing yours there?

300 for simple eyelid surgery isn't so bad. More generous then I thought O_O but for the rest...whew!! now I'm not even gonna consider getting anything else >_<..they're definitely off my budget..

I'm not sure! I'm not impressed with their photo gallery. I mean...they do a good job at correcting asymmetry but that's it. Some 'afters' look better only due to the crease definition done with eyeliner.

They don't create eyes that stand out of the ordinary, it saddens me to feel that perhaps Western doctors, with their more aggressive approach, yield more satisfying results...

Unless we find out where those elite Korean actresses get the, apparently, exclusive transformations...
