A few months ago I purchased a preloved mono Favorite. The canvas is in beautiful condition, however the front nameplate is very faded. I plan to switch out its strap with a newer one from my DA Favorite, and would love to have the gold on the nameplate restored, but wouldn’t have a clue where to go to do this. (I’m assuming LV won’t touch them anymore now that they’re discontinued).
Has anyone ever had this done before and is able to point me in the right direction? Thanks so much!

It’s a possibility that LV would be able to replace the plate for you. They will still repair discontinued bags, even ones that haven’t been sold for many years, so it’s definitely worth a shot.

I second this. I’ve had plenty of discontinued bags repaired so you’ll likely be able to get the plate replaced at LV. I was once told by an CA that they keep spare parts on bags for 10 years so hopefully they’ll be able to do this for you. Good luck!
