Hi there! I hope I’m not too late in answering your question. I am assuming you’re dollar based and that you will be able to claim back a portion of the 20% VAT that both UK and France will have embedded in the price of goods. VAT is be reclaimed via Global Blue, which will charge a service fee. I’ve done the comparison using price of a standard black patent Pigalle as an example. Based on today’s exchange rate, you’re better off purchasing in France purely from a cost perspective (a saving of ~$18). I expect both cities (London & Paris) to have similar stock.
