I have this one. I found it at Ross for about $20 and it is WONDERFUL. I use it for soups, making stuffings, mashing beans, and grinding up nuts. The blades are sharp and it is easy to clean and use. I have had it for over a year and use it frequently and I like that it has the tub option as well as the immersion option. The speed is fast and it has not slowed down and it even mixes thick cream cheese frosting easily.
It's not cordless but given I don't have a ginormous kitchen it works great.
I mainly use it for making pasta sauces from scratch. I buy a 28 oz can of whole, peeled tomatoes and puree them right in the can with the stick blender - works like a charm and does not spill, HTH!
