I started off with a black MAB - and I love it. It's still the one I use the most. Def get a classic one first and then branch out into the fun colors!

It depends on your size. The MAB can be a large bag if you're really small and petite. If you're under 5'3, and small build, i'd recommend a mini also. Some girls think the mini is quite big also.
I am 5'6 and IMO the MAB is perfect for me! I like to buy MAB's in the neutral colors and mini's in the funky colors!
