Best cross body - Speedy 30 or Odeon MM

I only have a regular speedy but have other bags similar to speedy b , I think Odeon would be more practical if you want to always wear cross body. But shape and look, speedy will have a staying power that Odeon wouldn’t. Do you have any other LV bags? Will this be your daily and every occasion bag?
I would definitely go with the speedy! It is a tried and true classic and is versatile (as long as you go for the B).
I have a speedy B 25 that I thought I was going to never wear handheld but I reach for it handheld now all the time!

I have a SpeedyB 25 I use primarily crossbody but don’t feel it is very comfortable used that way honestly. It is better with a different strap but still not my favorite. I don’t have it but think the Odeon would be a more comfortable bag.
If you are open to other bags, I have a few suggestions. I carry crossbody bags most of the time for medical reasons but also like a top handle because it makes the bag easier to grab, like out of the car.
Pochette Métis, smaller than your choices but excellent crossbody.
Siena PM, much more comfortable crossbody than the speedy and opening is easier to access.
Vintage Trocadero, have a couple of these and are great camera bags with an outside pocket and fabulous price point.
Petite Noe with a crossbody strap

I prefer the look of the Odeon overall, but the Speedy is super timeless and classic. There's a reason why it's so popular... I think it depends what you want to carry etc as well - if you're wanting to carry anything for work / school / college / uni, I feel like the support of the Speedy makes it more suitable for carrying more than just a 'regular handbag'... Speedy has a slightly wider opening than the Odeon too.
Also love KathyN115's idea about the Siena PM - I always think the Siena looks like Odeon and Speedy have had a baby haha!!

I have both bags ( not specifically the DE speedy but other styles) and I use my monogram Odeon mm a lot. It fits quite a bit and not as bulky cross body as the speedy for me. My vote is for the Odeon!
i prefer the Odeon but let me throw out another option. I just purchased the NeoNoe MM and it’s incredibly versatile. Can be worn over the shoulder or cross body - super easy to change the strap length. I bought the black Epi leather (swoon it’s goregous) which also comes with a top handle so you can wear it in the crook of your arm. It’s a great every day bag. And super light weight.
The flatter shape and strap on the Odeon is more comfortable for crossbody. The side pocket is very handy for quick access of essentials. I also think it is more stylish/dressier and can be worn many ways by changing up the strap. Depends on the amount of things you need to carry, it is big enough to fit a water bottle, vertically no leaks. If possible, try in store to see which you like.
