Hello everyone! I really like classic and feminine clothing and realized most of my style icons are European royals. Some royal girls and women styles I love include:
Kate Britain
Letizia, Leonor, Sofia Spain
Elisabeth Belgium

I’ve attached some photos to describe what I mean. I don’t know too many brands that really exude this exact style. So far I found Reiss, Catherine Walker, LK Bennett, and Karen Millen that fit the bill perfectly. They all happen to be British though and I’d love to find more brands like this. Please leave suggestions. Thank you. :)

I don't think that there is any designer who always has the pieces that we are looking for collection
after collection. And of course more interesting to have a mix then head to toe one designer, JMO
Some standouts ( hit or miss & depending upon the budget & wardrobe needs)
Toteme
Max Mara
The Row
Loro Piana
COS Stores ( cotton t- shirts & basics)

First things first, Fashionlover7, I want to give you a big thank YOU for starting this thread. I have tried starting some threads over the years but none like this. I too am seeking this kind of classic, timeless pieces to add to my wardrobe and have found that yes, unfortunately most are British. Myself personally, I kick it up a notch, the brand itself and quality isn't the only thing I look when buying from the brands, I look for natural fiber clothing such as silk, cotton, wool, cashmere and linen because I like my clothing to breathe and where I live we have to run the A/C 10 months out of the year just to keep comfortable. I would truly love to see more of our amazing members add to this list. But, here is my contribution:

Veronica Beard
Thom Browne
Burberry
Tory Burch
Chanel
Chloe
gerard Darel
Equipment
Escada
Etro
Anne Fontaine
Dolce Gabbana
Comme des Garçons
Goat (now JANE atelier
Gucci
JANE atelier (previously known as GOAT)
Kiton
Kooples
Ulla Johnson
Kooples
Ralph Lauren Regular line and Black line
Libélula Studios
Marni
RIXO London (studio stripe)
Temperley London
Stella McCartney
Emilio Pucci
Rails
Yves St. Laurent
Theory
Catherine Walker

Will also comment that if one can't feel confident in what they are wearing & wear the clothes
as opposed to the clothes wearing them, it doesn't matter what designer that person is wearing
or how expensive it is.
One doesn't have to be royal they just need to feel royal in the clothes they choose
Clothes should fit well & if alterations are needed, that is what makes the difference, JMO

That’s great style advice but the thread is just about brands today.

@tbbbjb I can just tell you have impeccable style.
@fashionlover7 Thank you for that compliment. You made my day ! I do definitely agree with the member above that RTW should be tailored to fit YOU and it truly is worth it and does definitely make a big difference. I always try to calculate that in when I'm purchasing a new article of clothing. I'm height challenged so I always need my trousers or jeans hemmed and I know what that costs. I've also had dresses taken apart if I really liked the bottom but not the top, it ended up lovely and bespoke at that point. One of my recent ones was one with the bottom made out of brocade and the top was black silk georgette. It was Libelula.

To all the other members please add to this list as I am also always looking for new brands to look into. The Princess of Wales is the one who introduced me to the majority of the ones on my list and the rest were from fellow members. TPF is awesome because our members do offer such a wealth of knowledge and they share it.

I like how Kate Middleton also sometimes completely changes her clothes too by altering her pieces. I agree with the importance of alterations and fit but I’m already knowledgeable about that topic. What I’m not educated on are the brands that aren’t high-street mall brands or well-known luxury brands which is what I really want to focus on. Very few people seem to know about these niche brands.

Just a thought: IMO, Leonor and Sofia have a slightly different style than their mother and some of the other royals (understandably, since they're teen girls!). If I wanted to dress the way they do, I'd look at brands like Farm Rio, The Kooples, and (sometimes) Alice and Olivia. In fact, I have a dress from Farm Rio that is relatively similar to one Princess Leonor wore to an event last year! For the record, hers was from the brand Mango.
