Hey all,

I am looking for some help finding some good boots for a real winter. Lately, it seems like most designers are making boots for Californian winters...rather than actual snow.

I would like to stay around $1000.

Thanks!

Are you looking for moto, more Chelsea? What's your styling? I think Aquatalia is known for warm and comfy winter boots...
I don't know how to post pictures yet, but I've figured out links:

These aren't $1000, though...

These are great! Sorry I should have said under $1000. I like the look of those. Think sleek...like stuart weitzman 5050 boot.

I just looked at these a bit more. I have never heard of them, but they are sure gorgeous! I think I will try them out!

I love Blondo boots. They come in lots of different styles and are comfortable and good in snow. I had a warm, waterproof high-heeled ankle boot from them that didn't look like an all-weather boot at all and an equestrian style boot. They are not that expensive but they look very sleek.

Maybe the high version of Acne Pistols? There's also a ankle pistol boot with shearling on the inside. Otherwise, I really like the Sendra moto boots but they may be too sturdy for you?

Thank you for everyone's help. I think I will try the aquaitalia brand...particularly because they have a Canadian warehouse which means no duties!

Please post pictures of whichever you decide to go with! I've been stalking aquaitalia but have yet to see them on a real person. Thanks and hope they work out for you!
