I think the first would be great. I don't carry a lot of things on a daily basis. When I went to Neiman's I took with me my normal amount of things I carry and put them into a city to see how it would feel. I twas too large for me. Than I put everything in a classique and it was perfect. The bag is so lightweight!
Just so you know kinda know the size of my things, I carry a LV PTI Wallet, LV pochette makeup bag, cell phone and Ipod (I can even fit a 1.0oz of perfurme in there).
