I love ostrich and these bags looks great for the price. My only concern is I couldn't quite be sure if the skin parts would match up in some of the medium and large bags. I wouldn't my bag to end up looking like a patchwork. Some of the handles may not be comfortable after a while, which is why a rolled or 'made' handle is better than a short strap.

Since the lining color is special order, I won't get it until mid-late January. Will definitely post it here and review. I do like the fact that the leather is the same source as Hermes ostrich, and that local women make them and it helps to empower them.

Your post took me to the Bernice Angelique website. I also like that these bags are made of the same leather that many premier designers use. I also like the idea of her company employing local women; sounds like a very socially responsible company.

The Provocatrix is a beautiful bag! Suede lining and handmade at this price point is amazing. I look forward to reading your post and review when you receive your bag!

i have had a clutch bag made by Bernice and she is currently crafting a Provocatrix bag for me - she is an absolute pleasure to deal with and a few of my friends have also ordered from her _ for some reason it wont let me upload my pic
