So here’s an update on my replacement bag from the Chicago store. It’s been almost half a year and I totally forgot to post an update since I posted about the defect. I got it replaced in the fall and have since used it occassionally. The SA I had (Angela) was super helpful with helping me send photos to after sales and source a replacement. The process took about a month to bring it in, have it looked at and then a second trip to swap the bags. Overall, the wear and tear on the new bag is great. No peeling so far.

That’s great! I had the same issue when I first got mines summer 2018 but didn’t think it was a defect. It happened just a month after using it and I’m a very careful kinda person, you know. At first, I couldn’t figure it out how it peeled off. I really thought maybe by accident or something. Both side of the glazed are peeled just like yours. I think it’s too late for me to complain. I bought mines in NY and I live in Honolulu so I guess I’m out of luck with having it repaired. I hardly use it for fear of more damage but I still love the bag.
I don't think it's too late to address this issue with Goyard. Per the above posting, they have seen it at least once before. Send them an email with some photos of your bag and a photo of your original receipt. With the current shutdown, they may be slow to respond. However, they should be willing to discuss any concerns that you have with a product purchased directly from one of their comptoirs.

Can anyone tell me the strap drop length on the Belvedere II? I am just getting more into Goyard and I don’t live near a store. Also it seems the difference between the original and the II is the closure correct? The original closure looks cool but it seems it might be difficult to open and close each time. I’m looking at an original on the resale market but I think maybe I should hold out for the II version. Any advise would be great.
Hi! Was wondering if there’s anyone out there with a Belvedere II MM in black who could check if my bag is just as it should be? I got my bag from a reseller as we don’t have an actual Goyard store where I live. I’m having some doubts if this is authentic, although everything else seems fine, the bottom part of the strap is what bothers me. Please see the photo attached. Looks like it’s been attached or stitched together. Is that how it should be? I’m also attaching photos of the rest of the bag. Would appreciate any help!

Does anyone have a measurement for the strap drop on the PM? I’m 5’10” and would like to wear it crossbody. I don’t live near a store and the distance sales are final.
I don’t have a measurement for you, but I am 5’9” and have plenty of length! I’ve had this bag for 3+ years and it is still my go to bag. Very little wear and tear the absolute best feature on this bag is the slip pocket in the back that fits my iPhone Pro Max 14!

Hey guys! I was lucky to purchase a gray Belvedere PM in Paris in the beginning of March. Unfortunately I didn’t inspect the bag careful enough. It was also the departure day, so I unpacked it first when back at home in Sweden. Upon unpacking I noticed a weird bulge in the middle of the back of the bag 
I checked pictures of the bag on Vestiaire and it looks like the back should be completely flat! Is it a defect??
If yes, how could it pass the quality control??

Does the middle strap go down all the way in the back? Is that what is causing the bulge? I imagine one you start using the bag and the back pocket that the bulge will go away so I’m not sure it is a defect.
