So the belt bag has made a huge come back but this time with a more refined and polished look. What do you think of this style of bag?

I have a nylon one I’ve had years which I’ve occasionally used for travel. Is it worth upgrading it to a designer leather model? Love Gucci but was thinking more along the lines of Coach Signature or Rebecca Minkoff Blythe due to budget.

Which belt bags do you own/wear?

pretty much like a fanny pack to me.....don't care for the look and I carry too much stuff

I fell recently for this bag It really depends on occasion. I wouldn’t wear it to a party or to a restaurant, but I think it’s perfect for outdoor events, supermarket shopping (when you want your hands to be free) and rainy days. Here is my recently purchased belt bag from Marc Jacobs:

I don’t wear it as a belt bag by the way, prefer the crossbody look.

I don't love the sportier looking fanny pack, as I don't think it suits my body shape - I'm very straight up and down so adding the bulk doesn't look great on me. I also avoid trying to dress more sporty because with straight body type I already feel like I look more masculine!

So my favorite thing to do is to wear them around the waist! Here are some pics of me with my vintage coach belt bag:

I don't really mind the effortless vibe of cross-chest or cross-back look, but I'm too afraid it will be a temporary fad to bite just yet.

This Prada is my one and only belt bag. I wanted something specifically for the charity runs I participate in.. holds my phone and drivers license. I wear it across my chest as opposed to the traditional around the waist style. Perfect for its intended use.
