Belt bag or saddle pouch? Help me choose please!

Hello everyone. I am so torn between the Door saddle belt bag and the saddle 2 in 1 wallet. I'm loving the belt bag trend and the fact that you can put a chain on it to wear it crossbody. But I like that the wallet can hold more essentials.

Not sure if I should buy both and sell one later on?

I'm so torn! If you have the belt bag, wallet, or both what have been your overall experiences?

I would choose the belt bag if it were between these two.

The wallet is tapered at the bottom which actually means it can't hold that much, or it starts to bulge in weird ways if it has contents in it other than cards.

The belt bag can't properly attach to a strap. The leather loops at the back can technically accommodate a chain strap threaded through the loops, but it isn't meant to be worn that way so the bag may dangle slightly awkwardly from the strap when worn. Some people loop the chain around the flap, but it means that as soon as you open the flap, the chain may come off if you're not careful to hold the chain in place.

I just purchased the belt pouch, but I’m sure that when I first went to Dior this bag was AUD1700 and I paid AUD1800. Very annoying about price increase but I been wanting this for a while. It only fit my phone, keys and some cards inside the zip, but it looks great on and I feel that if you put a chain where the belt supposed to go, if you keep cross body, sits just fine on me. It just look incredible cute as a belt bag. I tried so many different ones at the store and belt pouch was the winner for me. I’m in love!!!

It came in today, so I can't comment on how often I've used it. I ended up ordering the pouch and the belt bag and will 100% be keeping the belt bag and returning the pouch/wallet. @averagejoe was SPOT ON regarding the design of the wallet not being able to hold much compared to the belt bag. I think since belt bags are trending right now I'll be wearing quite a bit, especially because whenever I see someone wearing Dior it is usually the saddlebag or Lady Dior. I haven't yet seen someone out and about with the belt bag so it does give me that sense of uniqueness. Also, you can always take out the strap and put it in a chain, and use it as a shoulder bag/crossbody. It will lean forward a little bit but it is still a different way to wear it. Overall, I feel it is worth it especially if you can get it before the price increase in Feb!

I’m definitely tempted to pull the trigger before feb 1!

Does it fit a large iphone XS with a case? I feel like the only thing I carry these days is my phone...

My phone is about 6.3inches and I MUST take out the case for it to fit inside and for the bag to close. If I put it in with the case it has to be diagonal and it distorts the bag. I wish they could have made it just an inch longer as many phones are pretty large and it is an essential for most of us. Not sure how big your iphone is but it is very likely that the case will have to be taken out.

I vote Saddle WOC. I received the belt bag monday and it’s just annoying over the chest. If your main purpose is to wear it as a belt bag, go for it, but if you’re planning to wear it across the chest with the original strap, you have to be quite petite for that. I must admit that it was nice with a chain as a crossbody though. It’s a cute little piece but didn’t much at all. It doesn’t even fit my iPhone 11. (with a case on)
