Before/After photos- cleaning lv lock

Hey TPFers. I thought I would share photos of how I cleaned my lock.

I just used the blue magic metal polish cream, a clothy paper towel, cleaned and buffed away. Never thought I would get results like this.

Has anyone successfully taped around their rivets and polished them? I started to clean with a qtip but the cream was getting on the leather so I stopped. Any suggestions on how to tape around them would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

That is quite impressive! I would love to try that on my Chanel flap clasp that has some tarnished spots but I'm super afraid of making it worse.

I've actually used ketchup to clean my locks. I read it on another thread and it works!
