this is frustrating for me. i have been searching for the 'perfect' star of david pendant for a few years now, only to be disappointed over and over again.

what's more frustrating is, i always see the perfect cross with the idea that i have for a star of david pendant, but alas, they do not make it as a star of david, only a cross. i don't want to have it custom made simply because of the cost, but i'm afraid, down the road, that may be what i will have to end up doing because i can't find one pre-made that i like anywhere. at least not to the specification that i want.

why are there so many beautiful crosses, but no star of davids of similar design? i realize that the majority of the population are christian, but come on, it's getting to the point where i am beyond frustrated.

i saw a gorgeous, small dainty cross in WG and diamonds at sam's club of all places and it was EXACTLY what i wanted but in a star of david. but of course, they do not sell star of davids anywhere within their company apparently.

it saddens me. whenever i see a star of david, it's large, ugly and boring. i have tried googling but the same boring crap comes up over and over.

why is this such a problem? i'm truly at a loss. :shrugs:

any recommendations or ideas would be wonderful. thanks!!!

thanks, misti, but that's just not my style either. it seems whenever i see a star of david with diamonds, the gold channel setting (is that the right term?) is more prominent than the diamonds (like in the pics of the crosses i posted).

i see this style a lot as well and it's just not what i'm looking for, however i really appreciate you trying. thanks!!!

I was going to suggest Roberto Coin also. When I got my fleur de lis pendant, the SA had a huge catalog with all of the collection. I am 99% sure that I saw a Star of David in the tiny treasures collection.

yes, i have inquired with my regular jeweler, but it would be too expensive—and considering how small it would be, it just wouldn't be worth it. when i see these smaller crosses with the style that i would like, they're quite affordable ($500 and under), so when my jeweler said it would cost over $1,500 to custom make, i was beyond frustrated. :mad:

thanks, LV! the one on amazon so far, is the closest that i have seen to what i want. at that price (even still reasonable considering), i'd be willing to spend it if i knew for certain it was the 'perfect' pendant. unfortunately the pics they have posted are horrible. i can't even tell if it'll look ok or not, but it's something i will again, put on the back burner.
