I think it lived underwater for a few years and then dried out in the desert. I bet you could peel the flap right off like cardboard.

GOSH!!!!! What ever has happened to the bag!!!!
Well at least we know for sure the bag has developed a patina!
And who's the craftsman whom did the repair? Can we request not to have that guy when we send in our bags for spa.
