Hello ladies! I wanted some experienced feedback and either encouragement or warning notes on this peekaboo mini sea garden.

I came across a photo over the summer and fell in love with the red coral theme and the texture of the beads. I forgot about it for a while but it came up in my insta feed again recently so I decided to try my luck at a boutique today. They actually had it in stock! I'm not normally one to go for novelty bags but as long as it's not a "special occasion" use case only then I can be persuaded (by me lol).

Would really love to hear you ladies' opinions on a few things though since I am pretty new to Fendi.
  1. How durable are these micro beads / sequins are and how much would I have to baby it? Does anyone have a similar type bag? The past posts I've found were all sequin bags rather than micro beads
  2. Anything else I should take note of since its not leather? The bag feels more "structured" because of the beads and I'm thinking it probably won't slouch? Or maybe the beaded side softens overtime? I don't think I have a slouch preference right now but would be great to hear if there is anything else that might make beaded bags somewhat different
  3. I know looks are subjective but I'd love to hear why you like or don't like this bag. I have a very strong irrational bias towards anything red and it often overshadows all logic on purchase choices.
For some background, I was in the market for a cream or cloud blue/grey type coloured bag and had been looking at a mini peekaboo or a small lady dior ABC. I love the look of the lady dior but always felt it might be too dressy? Throwing these 2 options in a poll to make this more interactive. Feel free to direct my obsession to another bag/style as well!

Wow, it's beautiful. It also goes with a beaded dress I have  It's a collector's piece.

IMO both the Dior and the Fendi are equally dressy. The Fendi has a bit more Italian-artsy flair and the Dior a bit more French-chic polish.

It's not a durable everyday bag, but I have heavily beaded bags from 1910s and every decade since. So long as you treat the beaded Fendi as a collector's piece and look after it. Keep alcohol, nail varnish remover/varnish, fragrance, any makeup (and food sources) away from the beads you should be fine.
