Beacon bag?

However, I think one feature might not necessarily be welcomed by everyone... I think it's slouchier and softer than the PS1. See how it's already curling at the edges in this picture? And the model seems to be squishing it very easily.
I see it’s on sale at Bloomingdale’s. I love the size and the strap reminds me of the Celine Big Bag (which I like.) I don’t mind it being a little squishy.I don't necessarily like how it looks on the front. But... the overall shape and leather make this bag a perfect mix of the PS1 and PS11 bags. I was trying to figure out what bag this Beacon reminded me of, thank you - it was the Celine Big Bag! I wouldn't say the PS designers ripped it off, but they were definitely inspired by it.
Yes it feels related but still PS.
It also feels more practical than the Big bag. It seems like stuff would be more organized since there are a few compartments.
I may be wrong, but I think there's only one main compartment, one zipper pocket inside and one zipper pocket in the back. And the flap pocket in the front, yes, but to access it one would have to unbuckle the strap - which is quite a lot of hassle.
I’m pretty sure you are right about that. I’d probably keep my phone in the back zip for easy access, my small wallet in the interior zip and have a small makeup pouch in the main. Not sure where keys would go, probably floating around in the main bit which might be annoying.
I don’t know what I’d keep in that front bit especially given that it’s not quick to access, but I like that it’s there. Maybe a slim profile sunglasses case if the compartment is big enough?
I grabbed a few images from Bloomingdale’s –they styled a few shots in a way that gets around the issue. Although I’m not sure how I feel about it.

I tried this on at Bergdorf. The leather is thick, which is luxurious, but really, really heavy.

show styling shows it carried as a clutch. No one wants a heavy clutch! Thank you for the insight
I tried it on and I love it. I’ll be adding one to my collection at some point. They have a smaller version now too which I like for when I don’t want a bigger bag.
First I thought a big no, but I really like it in that light brown colour! Black does nothing for this bag IMO.

)I like how it has a zippered top so it’s easy to just reach into the bag. I don’t like fiddling with flap openings unless they are quick and easy. I use crossbody’s almost exclusively and it fits on me well.
I also love pebbled leather. It’s my favorite and you don’t see it often.
