Be carefull with babywipes

I cleaned my bag with Pampers sensitiv Babywipes, like I did many times before on my other lv bags to get an even patina. But my 1 year old NF Tabs( 3 of them, one is fine) did not survive [emoji31]. The trim and the both leather parts are ok [emoji848]Any advices.? I dont understand this.

It seems like you went overboard and the tabs got too wet and dried unevenly/with the water spot pattern

Leave it alone, over time it will even out. Baby wipes are sometimes strong enough to strip leather dye (yes, even the “gentle” ones). I learned the hard way with a lambskin Chanel and no longer use baby wipes.

Even “gentle” baby wipes have chemicals and are harsh. I work in a NICU and newborn nursery and after about 2-3 days, baby’s bottom is raw and red. I always rinse them out under water before using to get the chemicals and alcohol out.

I think I would stick to a soft cloth and plain water for cleaning. Good luck!!

Ya I’d leave it. I do nothing to mine and suggest not using wipes in future.
