Be careful of currency exchange rates! (Or how I lost $67.00 in 3 days)

I just wanted to post a resolution to this situation! And I wanted to use the opportunity to let you all know that sometimes persistence and willingness to go further and further up the totem pole CAN lead to a resolution in your favor! Fortunately, paypal followed through (albeit, days later) with a phone call to me from an escalations supervisor, who was very nice and actually refunded me the difference! :tup: I'm guessing it's because I do both quite a bit of buying and selling and I am a long standing paypal account owner. But in cases like this, it doesn't hurt to call paypal and if the agent you get is unwilling to help you then always ask to speak with a supervisor to see if that gets you anywhere.
