BB bags on tall girls

Hello!

I‘ve been really on the fence about buying a BB bag from Louis Vuitton. So far I’ve stuck to bigger bags like the Speedy B30, Neverfull MM and GM, but I’d like to venture out into smaller bags, because I just don’t carry alot anymore. I‘ve recently sold my MPA because the seperate compartments annoyed the hell out of me!
The size/crossbody length seemed to be okay on me, even though my partner said that it looks like a toy on me.

I‘m 6 feet tall and really interested in the V Tote BB and the Pallas BB. However I haven‘t been able to find any mod pics of people close to my height. Do any of you ladies (and men ofcourse) have any mod pics of the mentioned bags - or even just opinions on the BB sizes on tall people?

I haven’t got model pics but have owned bb bags in the past and I’m 5’9”. Personally I don’t think you should worry about looking too tall for any bag. It should suit your lifestyle and general style. I feel this way about age too. I don’t think bags should be limited to specific ages or physical build. If you don’t feel comfortable (for whatever reason), don’t buy it.

I returned a PSM because I felt (in my 40s) I was too old for it. I then realised it was my issue, not anyone else’s so I reordered it, looked at it with different eyes and loved it. I ultimately returned it again but it was because it just didn’t suit my lifestyle. I will definitely buy again in the future when it fits my life.

What I have learnt over years of collecting bags is that it’s incredibly hard to gauge whether a bag will work for me or not. Trying in store helps. Ordering on line makes it very hard to visualize different outfits since you’re guessing what the bag will look like on you but also what it feels like wearing it. Over time I’ve learnt what I like and find comfortable. Some bags I just love and although I don’t reach for themas easily as others I still use them and love wearing them.

I'm 6ft tall too and almost all of my bags are smaller sling/crossbody bags. I don't have the ones you're looking at but I think you shouldn't worry about your height when it comes to the bags you like. I do have a couple of Alma BBs, a reverse-monogram double pochette, a Celine trio, a Givenchy mini pandora, a Gucci soho disco and a tiny Prada crossbody and am happy to share any photos if you'd like. Oh I also have a Speedy B25 but I don't consider that particularly small.

Personally I like that bags fit you no matter your height, it's not like the impossible mission we have of finding jeans in the right length!

I agree with all the previous comments.
It is called BB for a reason - BB for me is known as Baby! :P
While I do make considerations of a bag's material, strap length, functionality, and weight to suit my lifestyle, the size is not the prime issue for me. If any of the bags you mentioned makes your heart flutter (many) times, please try it on if possible to see if you like it against your frame. Good luck!
