Anyway, as for the bags, yup, the stitching was changed along the way, some have the vertical stitching and some don't, it's just a variation in the way the bag was made. Mine has the vertical stitching and the newer ones I've seen don't have it.

I believe her bag is the older style that had this type of stitching in the front.

Maybe older models had different stitching and it was changed by the time you got yours.

i agree. i have two vernis Houstons and one is much older than the other. on the inside of the older one there is just one large pocket. the newer one has a cell phone pocket + med sized pocket. i think there are several bags out there that over the years, the little details tend to change
