Ballon Bleu 42 mm stainless steel - woman

I will be travelling to Paris in August, and am considering getting the Ballon Bleu in 42mm stainless steel. Have been trying on both 36mm and 42mm sizes at my local boutique. While the 36mm looks good/classic on me, I feel the design of the watch looks very stunning on the 42mm size. I am a female in my early-mid-40's. Just curious if anyone (female) have bought this size and how are you liking it in the long run? Does it feel comfortable on the wrist etc? Thanks for your feedback

I think this watch is gorgeous. I don't own it, but it's lovely, timeless, and isn't age limiting. Nothing Cartier makes is age limiting imo.

In fact, a lot of Cartier pieces are very mature in design and they are pieces you can "grow" into and treasure forever.

I debated between the 36 and 42. My wedding rings both have thin bands and I thought the 42 overwhelmed my 2 carat ring. The 36 is perfect! If my ER was thicker I would have gone with the 42.

Thank you for all your helpful feedback! I am now a proud owner of the 42mm size in stainless steal. Bought it first day upon arrival in Paris (1st week of August), and have been enjoying her a lot! I love big watches, and the size is actually pretty good, and very comfortable to wear.
