Balenciaga work- is it in metal tab or leather tab ??

Hi ladies!! Im confused about the balenciaga work that i saw from my friend! I have a balenciaga work from 2009 and it has a metal plate inside, then i saw my friends work which she bought last 2011 and it has only a leather tab not like mine?? Im just wondering if balenciaga changed the metal plate tab to leather tab already?? tIA!!

Giant hardware bags have the leather tag. Regular hardware has the metal plate.

For leather tag on Work RGGH 2011, does the "made in italy" comes in all capital letter? I just realized that my bag has "MADE IN ITALY" on the leather tag.

Has any one out there ever tried to replace a Bal shoulder strap for a Work? Is it possible? Are they available from Balenciaga? I'm considering a used bag sans the shoulder strap, but I think I might miss it.
