BALENCIAGA Ville XXS Bag or GUCCI Dionysus

Hello!
I need ya'lls opinion. Between my work-from-home breaks due to COVID-19, I am going back and forth on which bag to purchase- the Ville XXS or Dionysus Mini. It's long overdue I purchase a new bag. However, I probably won't be purchasing another one in less than a year. Looking for something for a night out and that will look sophisticated yet dainty. Which one would you choose? Pros/Cons?? I bought the Medium Dionysus bag and returned the next day because it was too heavy. I simply can't decide which one to get. Help!!

My vote is for the Gucci Dionysus. I only have the small and not the mini but for longevity purposes and not going out of style, the Gucci wins hands down. It’s also a bag you can easily dress up or down.

If I were you, I'd choose Gucci Dionysus Mini. A structured GG Supreme canvas chain super mini bag with a key ring that can be used to attach this bag to a separate larger bag. The closure has the textured tiger head spur closure-a unique detail referencing the Greek god Dionysus, who in myth is said to have crossed the river Tigris on a tiger sent to him by Zeus.

I honestly would go for the Gucci Dionysus. I don’t think the balenciaga is a forever bag in my opinion, as I feel the loud logos will eventually transition out as trend. I personally have almost bought the Gucci Dionysus many times in the small size but in the leather version and I think it is quite beautiful. The only reason why I haven’t yet is because it isn’t at the top of my list right now. I love the small more than I do the mini because it doesn’t look good on me crossbody since I am short! However the mini is so cute! You should look at the leather version it so beautiful especially with the Swarovski crystals! The canvas version is also beautiful and I feel it is also easy to work with in terms of going from day to night

I personally think both of those bags will date badly. I'd only get the Gucci if in a solid color leather. But neither of those bags say, "sophisticated night out" to me. They both seem more daytime use to me.

Hey! I have the xxs ville bag and I would honestly reccomend it as it is not something everyone has and it is honestly the cutest little bag ever! Can also be dressed up or down
