Balenciaga Newbie - help with pre-season terminology

Hello everyone,

Just what does pre-season colors mean? I noticed that the pre-season colors are more to my liking.

Are the colors still available during the season itself?

I don't live in a country where Balenciaga is sold.

and does Balenciaga hold sales?

Pre-season colors are released before the season itself, ie pre-fall/winter 08 is being released now in June. They will be available until they are sold out.

Main collection colors are released closer to the season itself. They will also be available until they are sold out.

Balenciaga does hold sales however they are limited in which pieces are discounted.

Thanks for the reply. Hope they'll still have all my colors left when I go to HK in November.

Nice to know Balenciagas don't go on sale....
